Touched By A Scent

wishes you and yours
a
Peaceful, Prosperous, Joyous New Year!!!

Reflections

Looking back over the past year I have to smile at all the adventures we've lived that were never expected.

Getting Touched By A Scent built up in Kentucky has been an exciting challenge. Who would have thought .... we would occasionally be sharing time with Gene Clark and Steve Clark, from Gene's Health Foods here in Owensboro, on Gene's TV spots with Jerry Birge's "Around Owensboro" and radio spots with Joe Lowe on WVJS/WOMI-AM .... that we'd be chatting on-the-air with Joe Lowe a few times on our own to promote the new website .... that it would take seven months to get the website launched ..... that we'd meet so many lovely people at Gene's on the First Tuesday of each month, at Health Fairs in various venues, through e-mail and guestbook entries on the new website.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my webmaster, George L. Smith in Colorado for his continuing excellent work on the Touched By A Scent website and the secure e-store. It's my dream manifested through his talent.

And thank you to all the wonderful people who have purchased Touched By A Scent products, e-mailed, called, or snail-mailed to tell us they use and enjoy our products!

Thank all of you for being part of our lives.

Suzanne

Grounding Aroma:
Cedarwood

At the start of a new year it is always helpful to take a deep breathe, look at your life, and reestablish your connection to life in all its

forms. After the hectic holiday season, the bills run up in the pursuit of year end happiness, and the need to get a good start on your path for 2001, it's time to do some work with aromatherapy for yourself. I plan to work with Cedarwood through January. The warm, woody aroma of cedarwood will encourage focus and balance in my life and allow me to concentrate on what I intend to accomplish throughout the coming year.

If you are familiar with energy work of any kind you will know that the first chakra is about survival. And survival is what this first month of the year means to many of us. It is time to evaluate what the past year brought us, and what we learned from that. And it is also time for us to decide what we want to make of the fresh new year we are given. Use this aroma to promote confidence in yourself - that you can accomplish all that you wish to do and to be. It doesn't matter what you have done with yesterday, -nothing you do now will change what is gone. Don't spend your time wishing and worrying about what tomorrow will bring - you can't live tomorrow today. Make Today everything you want it to be. Today is the only day you have each day .... enough Todays to fill a bright promising year .... until you have lived the best Today possible every single day for another entire year.

Cedarwood is often used in closets to protect the contents from ants, moths, grasshoppers and any other insect known to invade living spaces. It is useful in aromatherapy for arthritis, rheumatism, bronchitis, congestions and coughs. It should be avoided by pregnant women.

You'll find Cedarwood in the High Country blend, High Country Room Spray, High Country Sachet, and as the oil for the first chakra in our Chakra Set.
